FEB 21st 2020 - THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT BUT WE ARE HOLDING A WAITING LIST AND SO IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE ADDED TO THE LIST THEN PLEASE CONTACT ALISON COX OR NIKKI TAYLOR development@ags.bucks.sch.uk
“An Evening with Old Aylesburian David Millar (Phillips ’90)” on Friday 13 March 2020 at 7.30 pm in the Foundation Hall at Aylesbury Grammar School. David is a former professional road cyclist and now a television commentator for ITV and BBC and works on a number of projects, including a role with British Cycling. As a former Aylesbury Grammar School student David has kindly agreed to come back to share his experiences with our AGS community. Following a paella style dinner David will talk about “Creativity in Crisis” - the fall and rise of his career, including getting caught, missing the Tour and helping juniors avoid his mistakes. Based on his experiences, he has become an authoritative voice on anti-doping and we know he will convey some great messages and share many insights into the world of professional road cycling.
Tickets are £25 each to include reception drinks, a paella style main course and puddings. There will be a licensed bar during the evening. Dress code: smart casual.
All very welcome – Old Aylesburians, parents, cycling clubs and groups, our local community and friends of AGS - please spread the word!
Please advise any dietary requirements.
Please RSVP to Alison Cox at development@ags.bucks.sch.uk by 14 February if you have any questions about the evening.
