Once again, as part of our continued enrichment programme for our current Sixth Form students, we would like as many as possible of our recent leavers to come back here to AGS to talk on a one to one basis with our Year 12s. Absolutely no prep required!
 
We are ideally looking for 20 – 25 former students from each House who have left in the last 4 or 5 years. There isn’t anything to prepare as we would just like you to talk to current students on a one to one/small group basis about your journey so far after leaving AGS. It's a great opportunity for you to share any words of wisdom – how you decided on your next steps, if you have a job then how this working for you, if you are at university -  the admissions process, your course, university life, etc. Think of it as “advice to your former self” and a chance for you to share what you would have like to have known when you were in Year 12!
 
We are looking for OAs who have followed as many different paths as possible – so university, apprenticeships, work, travel, etc. in fact – pretty much anything! We want you to give the current Year 12s the benefit of your expertise.

I realise it’s some way off but this is such an important initiative for our students and we would love to see as many of you as possible back here.  We will get back to all those who have offered to share their experience and knowledge early in the summer term.
 
There will be refreshments and I hope it will also be a good opportunity for you to catch up with the Sixth Form team and each other too!
