We are proud to celebrate the incredible achievement of Old Aylesburian, Kieran Lindars (Paterson '15), who secured a stunning 2nd place in the prestigious Frankfurt Ironman. Competing in a world-class field, Kieran’s career-defining performance saw him cross the finish line just under five minutes behind Olympic champion Kristian Blummenfelt, marking one of the biggest moments of his career.

Kieran’s performance in Frankfurt not only earned him a podium finish but also secured him a coveted spot at the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii, one of the most grueling and iconic events in the world of endurance sports.

In a post-race interview, Kieran expressed deep gratitude for the support of his team and those who have been by his side throughout his journey:

"This is just to say thank you to my team and everyone behind me. You know, they stayed with me when I didn’t think I could do it."

We wish Kieran all the best as he prepares to take on the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii, and we look forward to cheering him on!
