On Thursday, March 20th, 2025, Mr. Nathan led our Senior Musicians (Grade 7+) to the stunning Exeter College, Oxford, for an unforgettable evening of music.
The evening began with a beautiful organ recital by Mr. Nathan, followed by a concert in the College Chapel and a Jazz Event in the Undercroft Bar. It was an incredible celebration of our talented classical and jazz musicians, showcasing their remarkable standard of performance.
A special moment of the evening was hearing our talented saxophonist and Head Boy of School, Joseph, play the saxophone recently donated by Old Aylesburian Malcolm Fallen (Ridley, '79). It was amazing to see this instrument already in use, supporting the next generation of musicians.
Beyond the music, this event also inspires our students to apply to the top Russell Group universities, knowing they have already achieved such an exceptional level in their musical journey.
A special highlight was welcoming back an Old Aylesburian currently studying at Exeter, who joined in for the performance, along with other alumni who came to support!
Huge thanks to Mr. Nathan for organising and directing such a fantastic experience!
