On Wednesday 10th September we celebrated one of the highlights of the school calendar, Senior Prize Giving. As always, it was a very special evening, recognising and celebrating the achievements of our senior prize winners

Congratulations to all award recipients, and our very best wishes to the outgoing Year 13 as they take their next steps beyond AGS. It was wonderful to welcome so many of you back and wish you well on your future endeavours.

We were honoured to welcome back Old Aylesburian Richard Bush (Phillips ’03) as Guest of Honour. Richard delivered a reflective and inspiring address with three powerful messages for our students:

• Embrace extra-curricular activities, whatever form they take, they broaden your skills.
• Develop emotional intelligence, a vital quality for success.
• Value success relative to your own personal goals.

Special thanks also to our distinguished guests, the Mayor of Aylesbury, Cllr Nidhi Mehta, former Chemistry teacher and Assistant Head Peter Larkham (present for the awarding of the PJ Larkham Prize for Theatre), and former Head of German Jackie Brooker (present for the awarding of the Brooker Prize for German).
