Aylesbury Grammar School was proud to welcome back distinguished OA Amala Ejikeme (Phillips '04) as part of our Inspirational Speakers Programme, where he delivered an empowering talk to our Sixth Form students.
Amala's return was not only a homecoming but a masterclass in ambition, integrity, and personal growth. He generously shared his journey from AGS student to partner at one of the world’s most prestigious law firms, Kirkland & Ellis.
💼 From AGS to the Global Legal Stage
After leaving AGS, Amala went on to study Law at the London School of Economics, launching a career that would see him rise through the ranks of some of the most competitive law firms in the industry. His professional achievements are impressive, but what truly resonated with students was his emphasis on character, humility, and self-belief as the true markers of success.
His talk was not only motivational but deeply personal — a reminder that success is as much about mindset and values as it is about qualifications and titles.
🏅 Prize Giving and Continued Support
Amala has previously spoken at Junior Prize Giving, where his words left a lasting impression on students, staff, and parents alike. We are incredibly grateful for his continued support of the school and hope to welcome him back again in the near future.
