A huge thank you to Partaap Bajwa (Lee '24), who returned to AGS MedSoc to share his experiences since leaving school and beginning his Medicine degree at King's College London.
Partaap gave our aspiring medics a fascinating insight into student life, covering everything from social life at university, UCAT preparation and securing meaningful work experience, to maintaining a healthy life balance, understanding different interview formats, the structure of a medical degree, the four pillars of medicine, and the importance of reflecting on experiences throughout the application process.
It is always so valuable for our students to hear first-hand from recent alumni. Opportunities like this allow them to ask relevant questions, gain practical advice, and feel inspired and better prepared as they take their own next steps towards a career in medicine.
Thank you, Partaap, for giving your time and sharing your knowledge with the next generation. We wish you every success with your studies!
