In November, Aylesbury Grammar School was delighted to welcome a wonderful group of volunteers from our Old Aylesburian and wider AGS community to support our annual Medical University interview practice. This invaluable initiative gives our aspiring medics the confidence, experience, and insight they need to succeed in competitive university interviews.
We were thrilled to have a diverse range of volunteers, including practicing GPs, medical students, dentists, and vets, all sharing their expertise and offering students a realistic glimpse into life in the medical and healthcare professions. Their generosity and dedication make a real difference to our students’ preparation and aspirations.
We are incredibly proud to see the AGS community come together to support this vital programme, and we hope to continue growing it in the years to come.
If you would like to get involved next year or are available to speak at MedSoc on a Thursday lunchtime (1.40–2.30pm), please contact development@ags.bucks.sch.uk.
Your support helps inspire and prepare the next generation of AGS medics.
