OA Andrew 'Bernie' Bernard (Denson '85) returns to speak again as part of our Inspirational Speakers Programme to deliver his session titled: "Life By The Balls: surviving testicular cancer, what I’ve learned about me, men and boys and managing our physical and mental health."
Bernie delivered an entertaining and hard hitting talk where he shared some of his key learning during his early years, including discussing peer pressure, challenging traditional views of masculinity and coping with a cancer diagnosis. It was a very open and insightful talk. A huge thanks to Bernie for coming back - he is one of our regular speakers and we always value his visits.
