It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Delaney, who dedicated 30 years to Aylesbury Grammar School as Chief Physics Technician. Frank will be remembered not only for his contributions to the Science Department but also for his pivotal role in establishing squash at AGS. His guidance led the school’s squash teams to seven National Schools Championships, making AGS one of the leading schools in the country for squash.
Frank was also a founding member of the Hampden Squash Club and a prominent figure in the Bucks Squash Rackets Association, where he won the Bucks Closed Veterans’ trophy three times.
His funeral will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, 7th July, at Bierton Crematorium for those who wish to attend. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Frank's legacy at AGS and in the local community will not be forgotten.
