A warm and enthusiastic welcome was extended to Greg Hall (Denson '99) as he returned to Aylesbury Grammar School once again as part of our Sixth Form Inspirational Speakers Programme. Fresh from his warm and honest address at the Senior Prize Giving in September, the Aylesbury Grammar School community is truly grateful for his generous contribution of time, energy, experiences and wisdom.
Despite considering himself an 'average student' during his time at the School, Greg Hall's journey since then has been anything but ordinary. Having navigated through a diverse range of career paths, he has accumulated a wealth of life experiences that have shaped his perspective in a profound manner. His insights proved to be invaluable for our Sixth Form students, emphasising the significance of resilience, adaptability, and the courage to embrace new opportunities in the face of life's uncertainties.
Following his inspiring talk, an engaging and animated Q&A session ensued, with a long queue of students eagerly seeking an opportunity to connect with Greg, not least to enquire further about his yellow Porsche! We received a wealth of positive feedback from the students, underscoring the impact of his words and experiences. Greg's return to Aylesbury Grammar School serves as a testament to the enduring influence of our school's community and the power of shared experiences in nurturing the character of our students preparing them for their next steps.
