We are absolutely delighted to welcome the Cardiac Risk in the Young team back into School today for our annual cardiac screening programme.
An additional 100 students will be screened, bringing the total number of students we’ve screened to 600. We are incredibly proud to be part of such a vital initiative, one that helps detect heart conditions early and ultimately saves lives. Our aim is to ensure every student has the opportunity to be screened before they leave the School.
Every week in the UK, 12 young people tragically lose their lives to undiagnosed heart conditions. CRY continues to work tirelessly to change this through screening, research, and ongoing support for families affected by young sudden cardiac death.
Let’s keep raising awareness and making a difference.
