AGS Celebrates Supporters at Donor Afternoon Tea

Aylesbury Grammar School was delighted to welcome members of the AGS community to our annual Donor Afternoon Tea on Tuesday 14 July, celebrating the generosity and commitment of those who support the School.

The event provided a wonderful opportunity to recognise the many individuals who contribute to AGS in so many different ways, whether through their time, expertise, resources or financial support. We were delighted to welcome a mix of parents, former parents, Old Aylesburians and members of the wider School community, and it was a pleasure to thank many of them in person for their continued support.

Guests heard from Headmaster Mark Sturgeon, as well as three of our students: Ethan and Elvis from Hampden House in Year 7, and Jaiden (Lee ’12). Each speaker shared their own perspective on the impact of philanthropy at AGS, speaking with confidence and enthusiasm about the opportunities and experiences that support from our community helps to provide.

The students’ contributions were a particular highlight of the afternoon, offering a powerful reminder of the difference that generosity can make to the lives of current and future Aylesburians.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supports AGS and helps us continue to provide opportunities for our students to flourish. The Donor Afternoon Tea is an annual event, and we look forward to welcoming many of our supporters back again next year.
