School Events

Volunteering is an excellent way to support Aylesbury Grammar School. We are hugely grateful to those who are able to volunteer their time to our School in some way. There are more details about ways you can help below, whilst we also welcome ideas and offers to help in other areas of school life.

To volunteer, please fill in and return the Volunteer Form. Queries should be directed to development@ags.bucks.sch.uk

Our Aylesburian Annual Fund is vital in enabling to continue to provide the exceptional education it has always offered students, regardless of their background. For anyone already involved in giving to the fund, we would appreciate your help talking to parents and other community members and answering any questions they have. You may like to become an ambassador for the fund, talk to a group of parents about why you have chosen to give, or help us to host a fundraising evening to help answer questions.

The AGS PTA and School Development Office runs a variety of events throughout the year for its community. These range from dinners, sporting and music events and alumni reunions. Help is always welcome at all of these occasions.

We would also love to hear from anyone whose company or business could provide event sponsorship or an auction prize.

There are lots of way you can assist students and our alumni in terms of careers support. Members of our School community regularly come to talk at assemblies, speak to students as part of our career and enterprise days, and get involved in our speakers programme and career and subject focused societies. We would love you to get involved no matter what your industry or the stage of your career you are at.

Members of our alumni community are recommended to join our dedicated alumni site here . The site provides opportunities for networking and offering support to other alumni.

In order to enhance our Old Aylesburian Community we are on the look-out for representatives. Year group representatives can help us reach out to those in their year and help them reconnect with the School; they can also provide assistance planning events such as Old Aylesburian reunions.  As our network grows, we are also looking for city, county and overseas reps for the network. These members will help run a programme of events in their areas and reach out to alumni in their area.
