On Thursday March 14th 2024, Mr Nathan led 20 of our Senior Musicians (those with grade 7 or above) to Oxford University and to the beautiful Exeter College, founded and built around 1350. After a short organ recital by Mr Nathan students gave a Concert in the College Chapel followed by a Jazz Event in The College's Undercroft Bar.
It was a fantastic evening to celebrate our classical and jazz musicians and to hear the remarkable standard of performance that they have achieved. Having already accomplished such a high level in performance, Senior Musicians are encouraged to apply to the highest Russell Universities.
Many thanks to Mr Nathan for organising and directing and Mrs C Johnson for assisting. Having been such a successful evening, we hope this event will return to its pre-covid status as being an annual event.
