A big thank you goes to Matt and Declan, AGS parents and Pitch In Campaign Board Members, for organising a fantastic Touch Rugby tournament at Aylesbury Rugby Club on 20 September 2024. The event brought together Mums, Dads, and AGS students for an evening of fun, competition, and community spirit, all in support of the School’s Pitch In Campaign.
The tournament successfully raised awareness for the campaign, which aims to raise £1 million to construct an all-weather, multi-purpose 4G sports pitch on the school field. In his inspiring address, Matt highlighted the significant benefits such a facility would bring to AGS students, from increasing PE efficiency to improving the quality of sports training year-round.
Several parents have already pledged their support following the event, and momentum for the campaign continues to build. The School is grateful for the generosity of the AGS community and encourages others to get involved.
