Aylesbury Grammar School (AGS) is proud to announce the official launch of its brand-new 3G Sports Pitch, marking a major milestone in the school’s sporting and community development.

Thanks to the phenomenal success of the Pitch In fundraising campaign, which spanned the past 18 months, and the unwavering support of our community, the project has been completed on time and under budget. The pitch was formally handed over to the school on Friday, 5th September by SiS Pitches, the appointed contractor.

A Community Effort, A Year Ahead of Schedule

This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the extraordinary generosity of over 1,000 donors, including parents, alumni, supporters, and charitable trusts. Their combined contributions of time, resources, and donations enabled the project to be delivered a full year ahead of schedule - an incredible accomplishment that speaks to the strength of the AGS community.

A Facility for the Future

The new 3G Pitch is more than just a sporting surface - it’s a transformative addition to the school. It will enhance sporting opportunities for AGS students, provide an all-weather facility for training and matches, and serve as a valuable community resource for local clubs and organisations.
